Vladimir Stimac flirted with the double-double by posting 23 points and 9 rebounds. Josh Adams scored 19 and Derrick Brown 14, looking fine following his return from an injury that kept him sidelined for almost two months.
Nikola Jankovic had 16 points and Lazeric Jones 14 for Sakarya.
This game concluded Week 10 in the Turkish Basketball Super League. There weren’t any surprises since defending champion Fenerbahce extended its winning streak by routing Yesilgiresun while Tofas Bursa remained the only unscathed team in the championship after a roadkill over Pinar Karsiyaka.
