It’s a two in a row for Anadolu Efes in the Turkish BSL after beating Gaziantep on the road 74-66. Efes now stands on a 9-5 record and Gaziantep fall to a 3-11.
Despite winning the last quarter 22-9 the hosts suffered one more defeat. After a close first period in which Gaziantep had a minimal lead (18-17) Anadolu Efes stepped up their game finishing the first half leading by six (39-33).
The crucial part of the game was the third quarter where Efes was dominating. They were pushing hard on both sides of the floor winning that period 26-11 as they never looked back.
Brock Motum led the winning team with 20 points and 7 rebounds, followed by Errick McCollum with 15 points. Bryant Dunson recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Sean Armand had 15 points for the hosts, but that didn’t save the day for them.
