Third win in a row for Anadolu Efes in the BSL after defeating Galatasaray Odeabank at home 76 – 68. The hosts jumped to a 10-5 record while Galatasaray stands at 5 victories after their first game under Oktay Mahmuti.
Efes big third quarter seemed to decide the game (60 – 47) but Galatasaray had something to say. A 0-13 run in the fourth made it competitive again. The late reaction wasn’t enough and Ergin Ataman defeated his former team.
Bryant Dunston led Efes with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Brock Motum and Derrick Brown added 14 points apiece. DaJuan Summers 17 points for the guests.
Earlier today, David Blatt’s Darussafaka got the easy win over Gaziantep 98 – 65 on the road. Stanton Kidd paced the winners with 24 points and 7 boards.
Over the weekend, Fenerbahce defeated Istanbul Buyuksehir on the road to continue on top of the standings. Tofas and Besiktas also got comfortable wins at home.
