Turkish League club Yesilgiresun officially announced the signing of American guard Will Bynum.
Bynum spent the previous season in the NBA G-League with the Windy City Bulls (the Chicago Bulls affiliate team) averaging 14 points and 6.7 assists per game.
The 35-year-old player returns to Europe for the first time since 2007-2008 and his stint with EuroLeague powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv. He had averaged 10.6 points and 3 assists that season, helping the team reach the EuroLeague final where he notched 23 points and 4 assists in a loss to CSKA Moscow.
Bynum played for the Detroit Pistons the following years, from 2008 to 2014. In 2009-2010, his most productive season with Detroit, he averaged 10 points and 4.5 assists per game.
Yesilgiresun is currently 5 – 10 in the Turkish League.
