The Italian forward scored 17 points on the way to a 76-69 win. The hosts got a 45-36 halftime lead and kept it until the end.
It was a balanced effort by the defending champs who got also 11 points by James Nunnally and 11 by Jan Vesely. Darusafaka was trying to keep up, Stanton Justin Kidd came from the bench and scored 16 points but it was far from enough.
Fenerbahce‘s defense kept Scottie Wilbekin to six points and without his production, it was very hard for the guests to be really dangerous. Coach David Blatt’s team couldn’t keep up and Zeljko Obradovic got one more win.
As you can see in the league standings, Fenerbahce remains alone on the top with an 18-3 record, while Darussafaka had dropped to a 13-8 record.
