Ozhan Civgin is the new head coach of Pinar Karsiyaka, as the team officially announced in it’s website.
Civgin was the head coach of Buyukcekmece for the last five years (2013-2018), and before that he was an assistant coach for Erdemir (2010-2013) and Darussafaka (1999-2010). Karsiyaka will be the second team he coaches as a head coach.
The goal for next season for Karsiyaka is to be in the BSL playoffs, as Civgin states: “We will be a team that will fight for every game with the support of our fans. Our primary goal is to build a team that will be exciting for the fans to watch. We are going to work as a team to get in the playoffs and go as far as possible.”
Along with Ozhan Civgin, Karisyaka also signed two new players that will help for the re-build of the team. Berk Ugurlu and Tayfun Erulku are the two latest signings.
