Andrew White will be signing with Turkish BSL League newcomer Afyon Belediye, according to Eurohoops sources. The two sides have a deal for 2018-2019.
Afyon Belediye brings White to Europe for the first time in his career, following the player’s debut pro year. The 25-year-old forward spent the previous season with Maine Red Claws, before signing a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks.
White had 15 NBA appearances with the Hawks, averaging 4.6 points and 2.3 rebounds over 13 minutes per game.
Afyon Belediye promoted to Turkey’s First Division after winning the Second Division TBL title. So far this offseason they have also signed American players Marcos Knight, Jamelle Hagins and Tyrus McGee.
