Anadolu Efes took over in the second half and recorded a 90-72 road win against Buyukcekmece on Day 7 of Turkish League.
Rodrigue Beaubois led the winning side with 16 points while Brock Motum added 13 points and six rebounds. James Anderson and Sertac Sanli were right behind with 12 points each.
For the hosts, Devin Williams scored game-high 18 points along with 17 rebounds. Ogulcan Baykan and Osiris Eldrige helped with 17 points each.
After fairly balanced ten minutes (23-21), Efes went ahead a bit reaching a 44-36 halftime lead. They kept going after the break improving to 73-50 at the end of the third period and holding the game around the same margin until the end.
Earlier the same day, Darussafaka snapped a losing streak while over the weekend, Sylven Landesberg proved to be unstoppable in Turk Telekom’s win.
Efes improved to a 5-2 record while Buyukcekmece stands at 3-4 now. Tofas holds the first place with 6-1 but Fenerbahce – which didn’t play a game this round – is right behind with 6-0.
