Streaking Anadolu Efes (6-2) beat Gaziantep (4-4) with 88-81 in the first Sunday game in the Turkish BSL.
Ergin Ataman led his team to its third straight victory in the Turkish League and seventh straight since November 8th including its four EuroLeague wins. In Sunday’s game, Efes held a double-digit lead for most of the 40 minutes.
Krunoslav Simon led the way with 16 points. Brock Motum sank 15, Rodrigue Beaubois 14 and Vasilije Micic 13. Can Ugur Ogut had 19 points for the visitors, who cut in the home team’s advantage in the final minutes without getting close to the “W”.
