Galatasaray beat Beşiktaş 65-64 in Saturday’s TBL derby, but Beşiktaş have made an official objection about the result of the game.
Besiktas tought that Zoran Erceg’s foot was stepping on the line in his most crucial three pointer. Erceg made it a 4 points game for Galatasaray with this shot (58-54, 38’). At the end of the game Galatasaray won by one point, so it was a really critical decision. The referees watched the play a few times and they declared it as a three. However, Besiktas captain Muratcan Guler, brother of Galatasaray’s Sinan Guler, signed the objection petition after the game.
This wasn’t the only incident from game. In the second quarter Ryan Broekhoff hit Gonlum’s head accidentally with his knee. Gonlum was taken to the hospital. After the medical exams Galatasaray issued a statement about Gonlum and confirmed that his injury is not something serious. Also Besiktas’ Dogan Senli banged his head to Sinan Guler, he was also taken to the hospital and he is fine too.
