Adrien Moerman and Vasilije Micic had everything covered for Anadolu Efes leading them to an 87-81 road win against Bahcesehir on Day 10 of Turkish League.
Moerman dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds while Micic followed with 23 points and six assists. Bryant Dunston added 14 points.
On the other side, Dewayne White nailed game-high 26 points in addition to Joaquim Colom’s 17.
After a tied first quarter (20-20), Efes went on the halftime rest with a small 40-36 lead. It was after the break that they created the crucial double-digit lead (63-52) and didn’t let go until the end.
Over the weekend, Sylven Landesberg puts on another monster performance in Turk Telekom win while Ivan Buva helped Besiktas prolong Darussafaka’s losing streak. Sinan Guler was on fire from deep as he kept Fenerbahce undefeated.
Efes improved to 7-3 while Bahcesehir holds a 4-6 record. Fenerbahce is alone at the top with 9-0 while the bottom is reserved by Banvit and Istanbul BBSK with 2-7 records.
