Anadolu Efes comfortably improved its Turkish League W-L record to 21-3 by defeating Sakarya, 99-62, on the road. Ergin Ataman rested most of his key players and ended up using only six mostly youngsters. Onuralp Bitim and Yigitcan Saybir paved the way for the “W” with 32 and 23 points, respectively. Sertac Sanli added a 20-point, 15-rebound double-double.
Wednesday’s Super Ligi schedule will conclude with Banvit vs. Bahcesehir Koleji, Turk Telekom vs. Arel Universitesi Buyukcekmece and Galatasaray Doga Sigorta – Tofas Bursa. Tomorrow, Istanbul BB will host Besiktas Sompo Japan.
