Kyle Gibson was on fire from deep as he led Besiktas to an 82-74 road win over Istanbul BBSK on Day 19 of Turkish League.
Gibson shot 7-10 from behind the arc on his way to game-high 28 points while adding four assists and two rebounds. Samet Geyik helped with ten points and seven boards.
For Istanbul, Mehmet Yagur banked 21 points along with six assists, five boards and three steals while Luka Babic and Semih Erden scored 15 points each.
Besiktas improved to 13-11 and stayed on the playoffs course while Istanbul now holds a 6-17 record.
