Joffrey Lauvergne dropped a team-high 13 points and grabbed five rebounds in his return to official games after an eight-month absence, as Fenerbahce Beko defeated Bahcesehir 74 – 60 to improve its Turkish BSL League record to 4-0.
JaJuan Johnson had 19 points plus nine rebounds and Sean Armand 10 points, five rebounds and five assists for Bahcesehir. Their team remains winless.
Fenerbahce gained absolute control of the game in the third period. Coach Zeljko Obradovic’s players outplayed their opponents 25 – 15 to reach the fourth quarter up 58 – 41. Bahcesehir didn’t become threatening in the remainder of the match.
Berkay Kandan added 12 points and Kostas Sloukas contributed 10 points plus seven assists for Fener.
