Krunoslav Simon, Vasilije Micic and Alec Peters partnered up and led Anadolu Efes to a 95-86 road win against Frutti Extra Bursaspor on Day 5 of the Turkish League. Efes improved to 4-1 compared to Bursaspor’s 3-2 record.
Simon scored 23 points on 5-6 from deep while Micic notched a double-double with 21 points and 11 assists. Peters scored 21 points.
For Bursaspor, Allerik Freeman nailed game-high 30 points on 5-7 from deep, and 12-16 overall, in addition to Perry Jones’ 17 points.
Bursaspor was ahead 25-23 after ten minutes and 46-45 at halftime. The game stayed balanced until early in the fourth quarter (78-78) but Efes went on a 13-2 run (91-80) which decided the victor.
