It’s that period of time again, where teams in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague are searching for ways to improve their roster and find a solid player that could be of major help, at least until the end of the season.

The following six players of Eurohoops’ list have been cut by their respective teams in the NBA on Monday night. It was the deadline for their NBA teams to cut them, or else their contracts would have been guaranteed until the end of the season.

However, now they are free on the market, which means that a EuroLeague team can sign them. And with James Nunnally already near Panathinaikos, it will not be a surprise to see more of them crossing the Atlantic.

Marshon Brooks

NBA Team: Memphis Grizzlies
Stats: 6.6 PPG / 45% FG / 1.6 RPG
Age: 29
Position: G
Height:1.96m (6′ 5”)
EuroLeague Experience: AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano (2014 – 2015)

After playing one season in Italy and the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague competition with AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano, and three in China for the CBA competition with the Jiangsu Dragons, Marshon Brooks signed a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies and returned to the NBA.

In the 2018-2019 NBA season, the 29-year old guard played in 29 games and averaged 6.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, 0.9 assists on 13.3 minutes a night. However, by the start of the new year, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls, where he was eventually cut from their roster. Brooks, 29, can be a great choice for a EuroLeague team, as he already knows what to expect from Europe’s best competition, and is an overall solid guard.
