This season our strategy in Biwenger has been to sign one expensive player and surround him with unexpected solid players. Nikola Mirotic, the main candidate for the MVP of the season, has been the chosen one for some weeks. However, on round 22 we cannot ignore the hottest player in EuroLeague right now.
Since Sasa Obradovic‘s arrival to AS Monaco, Mike James has been playing his best basketball. This week we will spend 71 million to sign him, since in the last six games the American guard has averaged 29.2 points in Biwenger, more than anyone else. Also, his team has achieved four victories -three in a row- during that time.
Monaco has a tough game ahead in St. Petersburg but considering James is averaging 26.9 points away from home this season, he will be our captain.
For this round, we will also have Vincent Poirier (45M) and Dyshawn Pierre (33M), who should be important due to the absences in their teams. The French player will be Real Madrid‘s starting center in Berlin, while Fenerbahce is looking for new leaders after the injuries of its stars.
Finally, our starting five is completed with two UNICS Kazan players. Will John (M33) and Lorenzo Brown (M27) be motivated enough to revenge their recent loss against Barcelona?
