Georgios Bartzokas selected by Eurohoops as EuroLeague Coach of the Year

Olympiacos playcaller Georgios Bartzokas was voted by the editors of Eurohoops as the Coach of the Year for the 2021-22 campaign of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Following our selections regarding the All-EuroLeague Second Team and EuroLeague MIP, Eurohoops presents its own Coach of the Year, as voted by 21 editors, ranging from the English, Greek, Spanish, Russian and Turkish editions. More awards will be announced until the season-ending Final Four, which will be hosted in Belgrade’s Stark Arena between 19 and 21 May, where Georgios Bartzokas will seek his second EuroLeague trophy with Olympiacos.

Bartzokas’ leadership earned the trust of Eurohoops editors and the majority of the votes.

Georgios Bartzokas (Olympiacos) – 76,2%
Sarunas Jasikevicius (Barcelona) – 14,3%
Sasa Obradovic (Monaco) – 4,8%
Andrea Trinchieri (Bayern) – 4,8%
