The devastating earthquake that hit Turkey is yet another proof that sport unites. The Turkish version of Eurohoops.net is mobilizing top European basketball players, and EUROhope is auctioning their personal belongings to alleviate the suffering of the Turkish people.
Lorenzo Brown is one of Europe’s top athletes who were moved by the Eurohoops initiative and rushed to contribute.
After winning the gold medal with the Spanish National Team in the EuroBasket, he emerged as one of the best guards in the EuroLeague, starring this year in the Maccabi jersey.
Lorenzo Brown wanted to give his jersey – from his most intense season in the EuroLeague – handing the most important assist of the season.

EUROhope is the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the Eurohoops Organization, which “embraces” a series of social awareness actions. EUROhope mobilized and united top European basketball players by collecting autographed jerseys, balls, and trophies for a series of auctions through the Charity Idols platform. The proceeds will go to the non-governmental organization Ahbap for the relief and support of those affected. The EUROhope initiative will take place in multiple series of auctions. Each series will last one week.
