Turkey is experiencing a catastrophe, and Eurohoops cannot remain unmoved in the face of this human drama.
The journalists of the Turkish edition of Eurohoops.net undertook the necessary steps to mobilize athletes from all over Europe to auction off collectibles through the EUROhope program, the proceeds of which will go to those affected. Semih Erden stands with his compatriots, taking part in the Eurohoops auction.
The 2010 Mundobasket silver medalist and former NBA player, has spent most of his career in his home country and this year is representing it in the EuroCup with the Turk Telekom team.
Semih Erden chose to donate to EUROhope | Assist for Turkey this year’s jersey, in which he helped the Ankara team lead the European competition.

EUROhope is the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the Eurohoops Organization, which “embraces” a series of social awareness actions. EUROhope mobilized and united top European basketball players by collecting autographed jerseys, balls, and trophies for a series of auctions through the Charity Idols platform. The proceeds will go to the non-governmental organization Ahbap for the relief and support of those affected. The EUROhope initiative will take place in multiple series of auctions. Each series will last one week.
If you want to support the EUROhope initiative, you can also donate sports memorabilia!
