Malcolm Delaney, former All-EuroLeague, All-EuroCup guard, and one of the top US players to play in Europe this century, is the guest of the first episode of the new edition of Eurohoops’ official podcast EurohooPOD.
Delaney joins Antonis Stroggylakis and Cesare Milanti to reflect on his 11-year career – including special mentions to his stints with Bayern Munich, Lokomotiv Kuban, Barcelona, and Olimpia Milano, talk about life after basketball, becoming a businessman, and how close he came to returning to Europe.
Coming off a quite successful run, Delaney shares some important advice for young, undrafted, American players who begin their career in Europe – as he did himself in 2011- and what they should pay attention to. The former Hokie also talks about messages by fans and interactions on Twitter and explains why he expects more and more NBA players to move to Europe in the coming years.
Plus how he feels about Milan and the way he could help the team…
