Working on the second half of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague double-game week and improving our options in EuroLeague Fantasy.
Betting on Evan Fournier and Filip Petrusev in Round 6 of the 2024-25 Regular Season was initially unsuccessful. At least the Serbian big of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet was a pick based on cost and with projected future profit.
Reviewing our tips, not only the good ones, the French guard of Olympiacos lasted nearly 29 minutes, made multiple contributions with ten points, five rebounds, and two assists, but was limited to 2/9 three-pointers. That spoiled our plans.
Behind two more triples, his performance index rating would have skyrocketed and we would be fine.
Moving to Round 7, determined to overcome our first poor tip, we rely on two hot players.
Specifically, Mathias Lessort of Panathinaikos Aktor is coming off a comfortable evening opposite LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne with nine points and 11 PIR. This outing produced the fewer Fantasy points of the season.
He played only 19 minutes. Considering reduced time on the court, we bet on him returning to the familiar range of 25 to 28 minutes against Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade. We expect a huge Fantasy tally.
Our second pick is Shaquielle McKissic.
He might be the most in-form player of Olympiacos, exceeding even Sasha Vezenkov. The latter is constantly putting up Fantasy points but shy of his ceiling.
McKissic was brilliant against Real Madrid. He is up to four out of six showings with a PIR over 18, including 21 versus Los Blancos. There is no reason for him to slow down against FC Barcelona, especially with momentum in his favor.
His price is relatively low at 9.1 units, considering his solid displays. This is why he resurfaced among our tips.
