Focusing on Round 11 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season and attached EuroLeague Fantasy options, the big news is Sasha Vezenkov forced to the sidelines.
The superstar of Olympiacos is the best Fantasy player, constantly producing 20 to 22 points. If he was your captain, he would also carry the bonus of double points. However, we can’t keep him on our Fantasy team during his stint on the injury list.
When one door closes another door opens, which leads us to Alec Peters. The 29-year-old forward will replace Vezenkov in the four position. So, we are reuniting with one of our favorite Fantasy players from last season. In 2023-24, he was a hit during his teammate’s season in the NBA.
Last season, we picked up Peters from Round 1 at an affordable price and received plenty of Fantasy points. This year, he did not have any Fantasy value.
With Vezenkov out, we add Peters at half the price, 9.0 units. We are sure about getting many Fantasy points, possibly a tally equal to Vezenkov.
Nevertheless, selling Vezenkov at a league-high 18.3 units opens the aforementioned door.
For example, with Peters on our squad and necessary adjustments, we were able to sign a player the likes of Mike James, the leader of AS Monaco, while also trusting the head coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas.
We don’t believe the Reds will fall to Baskonia in SEF on Thursday despite the absence of Vezenkov. That’s why we are betting on Bartzokas for Fantasy points from the head-coaching slot.
