Heading to Round 20 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, we place Lorenzo Brown alongside Kendrick Nunn and re-up Omer Yurtseven in our EuroLeague Fantasy team.
We previously misread the situation with the bigs of Panathinaikos Aktor, following the injury to Mathias Lessort.
We confess to being mistaken in rushing.
We relied on Omer Yurtseven for the game against FC Bayern Munich but it was Wenyen Gabriel standing out. When we opted in favor of Gabriel, the Turkish center was productive for the Greens.
Wrong timing on both occasions.
With Panathinaikos set to host Partizan Mozzart Bet in OAKA Altion on Thursday, we will keep Yurtseven, considering head coach Ergin Ataman projecting him as his starting center and the player coming off solid showings in the EuroLeague and Greece’s Stoiximan GBL.
Available at 10.3 Fantasy units, he is not very expensive to pair with red-hot David McCormack of ALBA Berlin.
Another option from Panathinaikos, Lorenzo Brown entered our squad.
Kostas Sloukas remains questionable. Even if he does play, he will not be fully ready.
Meanwhile, Brown is far from his performances as a Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv star, playing 30 minutes and stuffing the stat sheet, but is striving in recent games. Potentially extending form and taking advantage of more space, he can help us earn Fantasy points.
On our team, he joins teammate Kendrick Nunn. The Fantasy value of the 29-year-old guard is up to 16.7 units, expected considering recent displays. We picked him up at a lower price, projecting an even bigger role with Lessort on the injury list.
