But what exactly is Trace ‘n Chase?
Trace ‘n Chase is a trading cards and memorabilia company, the ultimate destination for every collector on the entire planet as, in just a couple years, it has managed to become the largest hobby shop in Europe, having thousands of satisfied customers, who find collectible items at Trace ‘n Chase, at incomparable prices and with unique delivery times at their doorstep!
Based in Thessaloniki, in a unique environment for global standards, where the company’s offices, a basketball court surrounded by collectible NBA jerseys, the largest showcase with sports cards and memorabilia in Europe, a private lounge, as well as a space available for corporate events are located.
Trace ‘n Chase, from the very beginning of its creation, has been a privileged partner of the largest manufacturers in the field worldwide. Thousands of products arrive in Thessaloniki every month, from Panini, Fanatics, Upper Deck and Topps, while we are also a grading submission hub for submitting cards for grading to Beckett Grading Services, the most sought-after service in the industry, as our goal is to provide our customers with the largest possible range of collectible products on the market and to bring the public into contact with the wonderful world of trading cards and memorabilia!
At the same time, and thanks to the collaboration with Vasilis Skoundis, which began in early 2021, we have hosted some of the most important sports personalities at the Trace ‘n Chase studio in Thessaloniki – where players, coaches, agents, journalists, champions and Olympic medalists remember anecdotes from their lives and careers, with the interviews having gathered more than 2,000,000 viewers on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & TikTok, a sample of the appeal that such high-quality and original content has.
At the same time, Trace ‘n Chase’s collaboration with Stoiximan has featured some of the most popular basketball icons in Europe, including Nick Galis, Panagiotis Giannakis, Dimitris Diamantidis, Theo Papaloukas, Panagiotis Fasoulas, Fanis Christodoulou, Dimitris Itoudis, Dino Radja, David Rivers and Rick Pitino on the show “Lost Tapes by Stoiximan”.
One of the most special and proud moments was our presence in the NBA documentary series, “Hoop Cities”, which presented 8 European cities that live and breathe basketball.
In the episode about Thessaloniki, which aired in November 2022, Nikos Galis, Efthymis Rentzias, Evina Maltsi and the late Giannis Boutaris, among others, spoke to the NBA cameras, with Trace ‘n Chase having its own unit, a sample of the impact that our company has, in such a short period of time, on the global basketball scene.
At the same time, we are a company that operates in the broader field of sports and our support for charitable events & projects, academies, teams and basketball camps has been a key pillar of our vision from the very beginning.
The Jr. NBA, the official NBA championship for young athletes around the world, organizes 2 leagues in Athens and Thessaloniki and Trace ‘n Chase was the major sponsor of the tournament. The Live Draft, with Efthimis Rentzias and Vasilis Skoundis, was filmed in our studio, while more than 1,000 young athletes had the opportunity to come into contact with collectible cards and memorabilia, as well as to participate in competitions and events throughout the championship.
With great pride, we participated in the Navarino Challenge for the last four years, as sponsors of the 4×4 basketball tournament, where in collaboration with Active Media we donated signed NBA jerseys and unique memorabilia to be auctioned off for charity, while we also collaborated on the 2021 Greek Maritime Golf, with the proceeds going to the non-profit foundation “Karkinaki”, which supports children with cancer.
True to the same philosophy, we have supported from the very beginning as major sponsors, UniquAll, a program for children with autism, which has Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikos Galis and Dimitris Papanikolaou as ambassadors, while we had the great pleasure and honor, in collaboration with Make-A-Wish, to contribute to the fulfillment of Konstantinos’ wish to see an NBA game live!
Trace ‘n Chase has offered trading cards at dozens of camps and 3×3 tournaments throughout Greece, in an effort to bring children closer to the culture of trading cards, while at the same time it has hosted many teams – of all ages – in Thessaloniki, giving young athletes the opportunity to be guided through a unique space for.. young and old children!
A unique collaboration between Eurohoops and Trace ‘n Chase produced a special event, the “3×3 Sundays” at Eurohoops Dome, aiming to share the excitement and passion for sports with young athletes, offering academy players the chance to explore the fast-paced, dynamic nature of 3×3 basketball—a sport that made its Olympic debut recently—while having fun and receiving exciting prizes from Trace ‘n Chase.
And finally, the much-anticipated debut of EuroLeague cards by Panini America coincided with the Final Four Panini in Berlin last year and it was aspectacle to behold as legends like Felipe Reyes, Jonas Mačiulis, Nikola Vujčić, and Ramūnas Šiškauskas as well as current stars Shaq McKissic, Kostas Antetokounmpo, Dyshawn Pierre and Alberto Abalde were in attendance, making it an unforgettable experience for basketball enthusiasts.
