We are bouncing back in EuroLeague Fantasy with Kendrick Nunn and being cautious.
Coming out of the midseason break with teams focusing on domestic Cup challenges and international players furthering into the last FIBA window dedicated to Qualifiers for this summer’s continental tournaments, the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season resumes with Round 27 on Thursday and Friday. Similar to the participating teams heading into the bottom end of a 34-game schedule, EuroLeague Fantasy is entering crunch time as well.
But what to expect after two weeks without action in Europe’s top-tier club continental competition?
Being cautious is key.
It is impossible to predict how the players and teams will react to this pause.
EuroLeague Fantasy currently allows up to 11 changes on squads! Therefore, players can create a brand new team from scratch. However, this does not shape more options.
We prefer relying on Nunn, either picking him up or retaining him, hopefully the latter.
The 29-year-old guard and Panathinaikos Aktor will be in France to face LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in Astroballe on Friday. After three straight losses on the road, it is perhaps time for the defending champions to get back on track and combine piling up wins in OAKA Altion.
Nunn is well rested. Back from vacations in Dubai, similar to his choice for last year’s midseason break, he is looking for yet another strong finish to the season.
We expect more of the same from Juancho Hernangomez, who is coming off a brilliant display in the championship game of Greece’s OPAP Final 8 opposite Olympiacos and thriving in an upgraded role since Mathias Lessort was placed on the injury list.
