The LG AegeanBall Festival is honored to welcome no other than the captain of the Turkish national team, Sinan Guler!
Another important name of European basketball will participate in the biggest 3×3 event of the summer. Right after the Turkey finishes its obligations in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament of Manila, the captain of Galatasaray and the Turkish national team will travel to the island of Syros in Greece! The 33-year old guard spoke exclusively to www.aegeanball.gr, also mentioning that he wants to create a similar tournament in Turkey in to establish a further connection between the two neighboring countries.
“First of all, the invitation of Giorgos (Printezis) in the LG Aegean Basketball Festival is a big honor. I am excited that I will be a part of it!
I wish that this tournament becomes a cultural bridge between the two countries, that have great basketball history. And of course that other Mediterranean countries will follow. Perhaps next year I will organize a similar tournament in Turkey, something like a “sister competition”, in order to share Giorgos’ vision and bring more people close to it.
