Olympiacos catch up with CSKA Moscow and they are sharing the top of the standings, but a player of Panathinaikos stole the show.

Road wins are becoming a routine in this version of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, big games are expected as you can see in our GameCenter and as it happened in Moscow and everyone is still close to the top of the standings.

And while the game between CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahce today was an instant classic, the same can be said about our MVP.

MVP

Nick Calathes

The game of Calathes in the road win of Panathinaikos against Anadolu Efes was one for the ages. He finished with a 42 PIR, 29 points, he made three out of four threes, dished 10 assists and grabbed nine rebounds. Yes, he missed the triple-double by one rebound. What else can you say?

BEST FIVE

  1. Nick Calathes: He is constantly doubted, but after this game, this is bound to change for good.
  2. Luca Doncic: The boy-wonder of Real Madrid also flirted with the triple-double and who knows what might have happened if he played in the fourth quarter? He was rested and finished the game with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists against Unicaja Malaga.
  3. Toko Shengelia: It seems that Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz turned the page for good and he was one of the reasons with 19 points, 6/9 field goals and 8 rebounds against Zalgiris Kaunas.
  4. Jan Vesely: He was a monster with 31 points, 14/19 field goals, and 5 rebounds, as Fenerbahce Dogus got the road win in Moscow against CSKA.
  5. Nikola Milutinov: He is emerging as one of the best centers in the league, had a double-double for Olympiacos Piraeus with 13 points and 12 rebounds in 22 minutes against Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade.

Coach: Neven Spahija

Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv not only has an amazing start in the season but plays the kind of basketball that can lead the team far. The Israelis since the days of David Blatt have been erratic. This is not the case anymore and coach Neven Spahija is one of the main reasons.

Last word: The rise of Milan

Can Curtis Jerrells be the missing piece that AX Exchange Armani Olimpia Milano was looking for? Well, it looks like it. After two wins in the back-to-back games week, the Italians are getting back on track, despite losing Andrew Goudelock to injury and that leaves Anadolu Efes with a 2-6 record being the underachiever of the week.
