The three-point shot is a trend all over the world and having good shooters has been a plus since the invention of basketball.
However, in recent years shooting the three has become more valuable than ever in the Basketball Champions League 2018-19 there are 32 players who have started the season shooting better than 50%.
The sample is small and Thomas Akyazili of Antwerp who had a perfect 100% has taken just two shots, still the numbers are impressive, especially if you talk about Brose Bamberg‘s Tyrese Rice’s 70% (7/10 in two games) and Giannoulis Larentzakis (photo) of AEK who has a solid 60% with 9/15 threes so far.
