So far, only 15 players in the first half of the Basketball Champions League regular season have registered at least two double-doubles. That tells you all you need to know about the level of difficulty in performing such a task.
However, the duo of Latavious Williams and Shevon Thompson are on a league of their own. Not only Williams has registered four double-doubles in six games and Thompson three in seven, but they are also averaging a double-double in point and rebounds. Williams, however, has been cut by UNET Holon, and his numbers will not change until the end of the season. However, that doesn’t affect his status on this list. On the other hand, Thompson, who faced Williams and prevailed with Oostende, has set his sights on the top.
A special mention needs also to be made to Chris Wright of Torun and Axel Julien of Dijon. The current top scorer of the BCL and the French point guard contrary to all the other players of this list have registered two double-doubles in points and assists and not in rebounds.
