After losing Jayson Granger to Anadolu Efes, Unicaja Malaga added a new face in its back court by signing Jamar Smith for the next two seasons.
The former player of Limoges just days after winning the French championship title moved to the next challenge of his career in Spain. A deadly shooter, Smith has also played for Prostejov in the Czech Republic in 2011-12 season, for Hapoel Galil Gilboa in Israel and for Brose Baskets Bamberg in Germany.
