One of the big hopes of German basketball, power forward Maxi Kleber signed a two year contract with Bayern Munch, with an option for a third (2017-18).
Kleber played last season for Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro, where he averaged 11.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 33 Spanish League games last season. “After an encouraging season in Spain, I hope to make it to the next level,” Kleber said. “I am looking forward to playing in a top club like Bayern. I want to bring my game to the next level by playing for Svetislav Pesic, with the help of his coaching staff, and also playing in such a strong competition as the Euroleague. I also want to bring the German League championship back to Munich.”
