JSF Nanterre found a new focal point in its offense for the next Eurocup season. Point guard Gerald Robinson inked a one-year deal with the French club and left VEF Riga, where he averaged 16.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2 steals in 10 Eurocup games last season.
In Italy Reyer Venezia made an investement for the future, as shooting guard Stefano Tonut penned a four-year deal. Tonut (1.94 meters, 21 years old) arrives from Pallacanestro Trieste. Meanwhile, Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia and coach Massimiliano Menetti extended their collaboration for two more years. Menetti started his coaching career with Reggio Emilia’s youth teams until he was promoted to the head coach position in 2011. Last but not least Galatasaray announced what was already known, the extension of coach Ergin Ataman contract also until 2017.
