A little after the announcement of signing Trevor Mbakwe, Maccabi extended the contract of Yogev Ohayon for the next three years. The Israeli guard is the second oldest player in the team after Guy Pnini.

According to the new plan of Maccabi, Ohayon signed also a three-year deal. As he said: “I am excited and proud to continue at the club. Maccabi is my home and where I belong. We are now building a very strong team and we are committed to bringing the championship home and to present our loyal fans attractive basketball”.

The coach of Maccabi, Guy Goodes mentioned: “We are very pleased that Yogev will remain with Maccabi for the long term. His character and work ethic that he brings to every practice and every game is worthy of admiration. Yogev is not only talented, but also a symbol of hard work, toughness and excellent character, and it was very important to continue to walk with him hand in hand”.
