Teams in Italy, Turkey and Russia are preparing for the next Eurocup season by adding new faces and keeping or bringing back old ones. Τhat’s the case with Brindisi and Scottie Reynolds, while Stefano Gentile signed with Reggio Emilia

Teams in Italy, Turkey and Russia are preparing for the next Eurocup season by adding new faces and keeping or bringing back old ones. Τhat’s the case with Brindisi and Scottie Reynolds.

Reynolds (1.88 m., 27 years old) arrives from Besiktas, however he was part of the Italian team also in the 2012-13 season. Brindisi also added big man Kenny Kadji (2.11 m., 27 years old) who finished the season as Italian league champion with Dinamo Sassari.

Reggio Emilia after losing Andrea Cinciarini to Milano, added guard Stefano Gentile to a two-year contract. Gentile (1.91 m., 25 years old) is the brother of Alessandro Gentile, captain of EA7 Milano. Also Umana Venecia extended the contract of gig man Benjamin Ortner (2.06 m., 32 years old) for one more year.

In Russia Unics Kazan added power forward Evgeny Fidiy (2.07 m., 24 years old), while Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd hired Ukrainian Kiril Bolshakov as its new head coach.

In Turkey, Trabzonspor is changing and signed point guard Ibrahim Yildirim (1.90 meters, 25 years old),  forward Berkay Candan, (2 meters, 22 years old), center Sertac Sanli (2.12 meters, 23 years old), veteran point guard Hakan Demirel (1.88 meters, 30 years old) and small forward Gani Erdi Gulaslan (2.02 meters, 21 years old)
