Eurocup teams are still building their roster for the next season and the signing of Argentinian guard Nicolas Laprovittola by Lietuvos Rytas stole the show this weekend.
Laprovittola (1.93 m., 25 years old) signed a one year deal with the Lithuanian club as he is making his European debut. He comes from Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, where he won the Brazilian League title and lift the Intercontinental Cup trophy, downing Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv.
In Spain, Gran Canaria got Slovenian center Alen Omic (2.17 m., 23 years old) from Union Olimpija Ljubljana, with a two year deal. In Russia, Red October got a former Panathinaikos duo DJ Cooper (1.82 m., 24 years old) and RT Guinn (2.08 m., 34 years old). Polish forward Michal Chylinski (1.95 m., 29 years old) is the new member of Bonn, while Italian club Brindisi got Serbian center Djordje Gagic (2.10 m., 24 years old) from Partizan.
