There are still enough open spots in teams around Europe, even in Eurocup and even if we are near the end of the summer, the market is still moving.

In Slovenia, Union Olimpija announced today the addition of Sava Lesic (27 years old, 2.03 m.) for next season. Meanwhile in Greece AEK extended the contract of point guard Nontas Papantoniou (25 years old, 1.85 m.) for the next two years.

Aris announced officially the already confirmed addition of Jack Cohen and in Roumania, Steaua CSM EximBank Bucharest signed big man Eric Williams (2.06 m., 31 years old) who comes from Italy and Cantu.  In Germany, EWE Baskets Oldenburg signed 19 years old center Croatian Marko Bacak to a three-year deal. Bacak (2.10 meters) was born in Berlin and he is a product of Alba’s junior teams.

Last but not least, Reggio Emilia signed veteran big man Vladimir Veremeenko. The center (2.07 m., 31 years old) who comes from Banvit is the Eurocup’s all time rebounding leader with 543, having played in total eight Eurocup seasons.
