One player left Union Olimpija Ljubjana for Spain and CAI Zaragoza, while an other extended his contract with the traditional Slovenian powerhouse.
CAI Zaragoza signed forward Halil Kanacevic (2.03 meters, 23 years old) who made his Eurocup debut last season with Olimpija Ljubljana,. Kanacevic was the Last 32 Round 2 MVP after posting 27 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks in a road win at JDA Dijon.
As for Olimpija, they extended Slovenian national team playmaker Luka Rupnik (1.85 meters, 22 years old) for one more year.
