After his breakout Euroleague season, Edgaras Ulanovas was awarded with a new contract by his team, Zalgiris Kaunas.
By averaging 8.5 ppg and 12.1 rpg in the Top16, the 24 years old forward emerged as a key member of the perennial Lithuanian champions who are investing in him. Ulanovas signed a contract for the next three years (2+1) as Zalgiris is trying with Sarunas Jasikevicius as its coach to become once again a playoffs contender in the Euroleague.
