Unicaja Malaga and shooting guard Jamar Smith reached an agreement and the player will continue being part of the team for 2 more seasons. Last season, he averaged 7.8 points and 2.4 assists in 15 Euroleague games, during which his team reached the Top 16 round.
Smith started his career with Prostejov in Czech Republic in 2011. He has played for Hapoel in Israel and made his Euroleague debut with Bamberg in the 2013-14 season. The 29-year-old American joined Unicaja from Limoges CSP, which he helped win the French championship in the 2014-15 season.
