A day after signing Jordan Sibert, PAOK made another transfer by inking Latvian guard/forward Zanis Peiners for one season.
The 25-year-old player is no stranger to Eurocup, as he played in Ventspils last season and averaged 5.8 points in the competition.
Peiners was born in Rezekne, Latvia and began his career in VEF Riga in 2009 and then joined the university team of LU (Latvijas Universitate). In summer 2013 he joined Ukrainian MBC Mykolaiv, averaging 16,1 points before making his comeback to his homecountry for Ventspils, in where he stayed for 2 seasons.
