UCAM Murcia has signed scoring machine Billy Baron in order to boost their roster for their upcoming 7Days EuroCup debut. Baron (1.88 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Proximus Spirou Charleroi and was the 2015-16 EuroCup regular season second-best top scorer, averaging 20.7 points in 10 games and only trailing Loukas Mavrokefalidis of AEK Athens (24.2 ppg.). Baron hit 45.9% of his three-point shots, was also deadly from the foul line (84.6%) and averaged 3.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists, too.
He joined Charleroi from Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius, where he averaged 6.1 points in 17 EuroCup games in the 2014-15 season, his first as a professional baskeball player. He helped Rytas reach the Lithuanian League finals. His brother Jimmy is a EuroCup champion with Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar in 2013. Both Jimmy and Billy Baron played together in Charleroi last season.
