Muratbey Usak made a splash in the market by adding two players today with one of them being Darryl Monroe.
The Turkish club signed the 30 years old American who finished last season in Maccabi Rishon LeZion, won the MVP trophy and led his team to the league title. Monroe was also named Final Four MVP, after scoring 20 points against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Semi-final, and 29 against Hapoel Jerusalem in the Final.
The club’s GM Fatihhan Erdogan confirmed the deal, as Usak is getting ready not only for the BSL but also for the FIBA Champions League qualifying round.
