Nizhny Novgord is going through some heavy rebuilding mode for the upcoming season and its latest acquisition is American combo guard DeAndre Kane with a one-year deal.
Kane comes from Israeli Hapoel Eilat with which he averaged 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 19 games in Winner League last year. Prior to joining Hapoel, he had begun the season with Ratiopharm Ulm, averaging 10.4 points, 5 rebounds and 2.9 assists in eight Eurocup matches.
He is most likely intended to carry an important role in Nizhy’s game since he is also a player who can undertake many responsibilities on the floor.
