Pinar Karşıyaka has agreed to terms with DaJuan Summers on a 1 + 1 year deal.
28 years old Summers spent his freshman season at Georgetown and was named to the 2007 Big East All-Rookie team. In 37 games, he averaged 9.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
On June 25, 2009, Summers was selected with the 35th overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons. In July 2009, he joined the Pistons for the 2009 NBA Summer League. In August 2009, he signed a multi-year deal with the Pistons. In July 2010, he re-joined the Pistons for the 2010 NBA Summer League.
He went overseas at 2011 to play for Siena before returning to the NBA for Hornets and Clippers. On summer 2013, he signed with Ukrainian Budivelnyk Kiev. The following season he was signed by Gran Canaria and played for Westchester Knicks in the D-League the past season.
