Serbian point guard Branislav Ratkovica is the new addition of Partizan Belgrade for the upcoming season, as the club officially announced.
One highly skilled play-maker, 31-year old Ratkovica was the top passer in 2014/2015 Beko BBL after averaging 7.2 assists with the jersey of Tubingen. During the previous season, he played for Lukoil Academic, in Bulgaria, scoring 7.9 points and dishing 5.1 assists in 32 games.
Ratkovica is not just the new player of Partizan, but has also been a long-time fan. “I am glad I came to the club that I cheered for since my childhood”, he commented in the club’s official website. “I always followed their games closely, even if I was abroad for 10 years. I am glad to be back in Serbia to work for coach Dzicic, for whom I played for in Atlas.”
