Lietkabelis is preparing for its debut season in Eurocup and the demands that come with participating in such a challenging competition. The club’s latest move to strengthen its roster, is the acquisition of Lithuanian forward/center Simas Galdikas.
Galdikas began the previous season in Neptunas Klaipeda before joining Steaua Bucharest in Romania. With Neptunas he averaged 6.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1 assist in 5 Eurocup games.
In the 2014/2015 season he played in Euroleague, also with Neptunas, averaging 6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
