Ufuk Sarica and Besiktas finally announced that they reached an agreement and the coach will join the team for 2+1 years. Sarica has been both a player and a coach of the club in the past and it was a common secret revelead by Eurohoops, that he was going to be the new coach of Besiktas.
Sarica won the Turkish Cup of the 2013-14 season with Karsiyaka, then he signed an extension contract with the team until 2015. By the end of that season, he won the Turkish League championship by beating Fenerbahce and ex team (as a coach) Anadolu Efes in semifinals and finals.
44 years old Sarica is also in the coaching staff of the Turkish National Team.
