Lietkabelis Panevezys sign their veteran guard Gintaras Leonavicius for the team’s 7DAYS EuroCup debut next season.
Leonavicius (1.94 meters, 32 years old) arrives from another Lithuanian club, Siauliai, where he spent the last two seasons and averaged 10.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in the last one.
He started his pro career with Lietkabelis back in 2002 for one season and returned again for the 2010-11 season. In addition to three more Lithuanian clubs, he has played for second-division teams San Severo of Italy and Huesca and Lugo in Spain.
