Lietkabelis announced the acquisition of veteran Lithuanian swingman Mingaudas Lukauskis. He signed a one-year contract with the club.
37-year old Lukauskis comes from Lietuvos Rytas with which he averaged 2.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2 assists per game in Eurocup. He carries with him an experience of 20 years (!) on a professional basketball, three of them in Euroleague.
A two-time Eurocup champion, in 2005 and 2009 with Lietuvos Rytas, Lukauskis is a practically a connoisseur of the competition. The upcoming season will be his ninth in the second-tier continental basketball league.
